i left it overnight and i eventually stopped producing stuff and i tried many things so i wanted to screenshot my situation but i had to login and when i came back everything was running again
My game ran slow and crashed a bunch when I first made satellites. Later I made them at an even faster rate and it seems to be permanently crashed. It seems like it's not built for you to focus production on satellites. If that's how you're doing it, I suggest not letting people work on that to speed it up. The way the game is designed it's generally most efficient to design planets to focus on one type of building, and then when you run out of resources sell everything and redesign for something else.
*edited* Further observations regarding the game engine freezing bug:
The freezes seem to be related to placing some of the solar sails. Given how the game tracks the solar sail orbits (incl. speed, trajectory, etc.), perhaps some code is not handling +/- INF or NaN correctly, resulting in an error that propagates back to a timer failing to trigger (or re-trigger)? Another possibility is invalid input--It looks like you are using some circle formulas (involving area of a circle and various trigonometry functions); Are you validating things (like tan(90 degrees) == undefined)?
Not sure if this is intentional, or a "logic bug": When one planet is launching Dyson satellites, on that planets screen the "dots" originate from the launch pad. When switching to another planet, the "dots" originate from the other planet. While it makes logical sense, it is very confusing and disconcerting when looking at the screen until you figure out the what/why. I would suggest making them _always_ originate from the planet.
I also seem to hit the "not ticking" bug. Most often when I'm idle and switching to another window/tab. Is it possible one of the critical timers is not firing (and/or not rescheduling itself) when the page is not on top/in the foreground?
PS: Please add a button to force a save and/or export/import a save game, so if we do have to refresh, we can be more confident it has saved.
I built too many solar sails at once and now I'm getting the freezing/not ticking issue like athealis. It verrry slowly got better after I refreshed and more sails found their spot. Very cool concept, and I love seeing the sails cover the sun!!
I'm having this problem too. Each time I refresh it goes a few ticks, then gets stuck again. If I restart every minute or so, I get very slow progress... but if I restart too soon it loses the progress. Looks like it'll be a while before I can actually continue.
As for "too many solar sails at once," I only have one factory sending them out, though it's level 2 and it has 30k employees.
am i the only one having issues with the game freezing and not ticking? Sometimes after reload, i get 3-4 ticks then it just halts time again. i'm not turning anything off our pushing anything. Maybe it just updated to a non-working version?
Great game. Longer than most of the other games in this Jam, yet shorter than most of the famous incrementals.
I noticed that the radio telescopes, and the Dyson sphere energy generation, are pretty much useless. At first they're weaker than a maxed-out Solar Panel; later on they get upgrades to be slightly stronger than a maxed-out solar panel, at the cost of being vastly more expensive. I recommend multiplying the energy capacity of all radio telescopes by 4, and slowing down the cost progression for upgrades. Setting up the Dyson sphere is expensive enough; the radio telescopes don't need to be expensive too.
Enjoying a lot so far, would love to have some indicator that a building is paused. Either grayed out or text of the pause button changed to "unpaused". Also can't go wrong with a dark mode, it is set in space after all. 👍

its a bug just reload
Really liked this until I got to 7% of the dyson and the entire game froze up... and the creator isn't even commenting about it :/
Anyone know any cheats? I'ts so buggy right now

Loved the game, but deep into the game a bad save occurred and I can't even reset.
author didn't even have the integrity to respond to you. that is a no-brainer for me: he's blacklisted.
game not functional for me

I got to 96% but I couldn't finish it :( game froze and refreshing no longer helps.
same problem

**EDIT Seems to be working now!

Update: Wasn't able to see the red/green outlines of paused/unpaused buildings before, I see them now though.
